Kathmandu : The Janamat Party has submitted a name list of its members the under Proportional Representation (PR) election system to the Election Commission.

The party which won one seat under the first-past-the-post election system in the House of Representatives (HoR) has secured five seats towards the PR category. 
On PR members of the HoR, the Janamat Party has recommended Anita Saha and Basanta Kumar Kushawaha (Madhesi), Sonu Murmar and Binita Kumari Singh (indigenous nationalities), Abdul Khan (Muslim) and Goma Lama Sapkota (Khas-Arya).

Likewise, on PR members of province assembly, the party has recommended Babita Raut and Anita Kumari Saha (Madhesi women), Chandan Kumar Singh (Madhesi minorities), Ranju Kumar Khang Khatwe (Dalit women), Hasina Khatun (Muslim women) and Bhagyashree Kumari Chaudhary (indigenous nationalities women), shared Janamt Party's Valley In-charge Harendra Chaudhary.

As informed, the party has recommended Suman Sharma Rayamajhi and Geeta Gurung as the PR member in Lumbini province. The party had won seven province assembly members across the country.
